PERSONAL
I married LaDonna Douthit from Pine Mountain,
Georgia in 1979. We have two grown daughters.  My
eldest daughter, Rebekah, lives in Covington, GA
with her husband, Dr. Bryan Kirkland.  My grandson's
name is Luke and my granddaughter's name is
Jackie.  My youngest daughter, Sarah, completed 4
years in the Coast Guard. She completed a Business
Degree at Troy University and married in Jan 2009 to
Caleb Peterson. Caleb is a Petty Officer Second
Class in the USCG and works as a Marine Science
Technician. They have a son name Raylan.  I
graduated from the University of GA with a BS in
Forest Resources.  I have 28 years experience in
land management and procurement.  Completed
50% of course requirements for a MBA.
REALTOR
Associate Broker's licenses in AL and GA.  I have
been licensed in AL since 1997.  I moved to Georgia
in 2006 and began a full time real estate career with
Waddell Land Co., LLC in Columbus, GA. I am
uniquely qualified to implement strategies that
incorporate forestry operations with real estate
objectives.  Due to my forestry background and
education, I enjoy working with large tracts of land.
Received the 'Accredited Land Consultant'
designation offered through the Realtors Land
Institute on December 2009.
FORESTER
Registered Forester In Georgia.  Graduate
forester from the University of GA with a degree
in Forest Resources.   I have both procurement
and land management experience.  Experience
includes 28 years of both asset and people
management, including but not limited to:  
timber appraisals, harvesting, thinnings, timber
sales, herbicide prescriptions and planting
supervision.  Team Leader for the development
of 'Policy & Procedures' and implementation of
Geographic Information System  for 275,000 of
timberland.
